So called Fancy Restaurant
Last Friday I was going to one restaurant known as “Empire Grill” before and now they refer themselves as a revolving restaurant in the city.I must admit that I got a perfect ambience when I was there … To see entire city lights inside dimmed revolving restaurant. Sounds pretty great ...
Until I found out that their service and food taste are not as great as their looks. Beside their food are poor with variety and tasteless?
I was order well done tenderloin with pepper sauce and mashed potatoes. Taste like rubber and hard to be swallowed. Not to mention almost 1 hour to serve. Better eat in Abuba :)
Then, I ordered salmon steak and it was also damn plain! When I was hopeless, I want to eat something more “human”, so I want a soufflé … Guess what! It was sold out and the restaurant is not even 30% occupied and it was only 8PM! Ckckck
By the way … their black mussel with cheese and calamari was quite good (eventho’ the calamari is still too dried!)
So you better keep lay low your expectations when you planned to go there …
Just some advice :
Eat before you drive there, so that you don’t have to order food.
Just order drinks, snacks and enjoy the rest of the nite!
(For drinks will be better if you order something “usual” instead of their drinks specialty … It is also awful!)
